Fix common social problems in Heartopia: protect display food, coordinate watering groups, manage friend invites, and troubleshoot gift or voucher limits.

Claim in order
Heartopia is multiplayer. Before visitors arrive, review Watch β Settings β Home Settings; set Consume Food to Self Only if displayed dishes are decoration. For watering meetups, share the server or region plus the town and plot number so helpers can find the correct home without requiring a public UID.

Player coordination
These steps describe a community-organized workflow, not an official in-game matchmaking feature. Do not post passwords or account credentials.
The food-permission path is community-cross-checked across separate player reports from January, February, July, and September 2026. The watering-group workflow comes from a September 2026 player Q&A and the current official Discord destination. Heartopia.Life did not independently test these controls on every platform.
Start inside Heartopia before changing phone settings. Look for Settings, Social, Friends, Notifications, or Privacy options.
| Problem | Most Likely Cause | What to Check First | Best Next Step |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visitors eat display food | Consume Food permits visitors | Watch β Settings β Home Settings | Set Consume Food to Self Only |
| How to turn off invites | Invite popups or notifications are enabled | Social, privacy, or notification settings | Mute invite type or set status to busy |
| 2 friends sent the same ticket vouchers | Duplicate reward, mailbox stack, or item cap | Mailbox, inventory, voucher tab | Claim one, use it, then try the second |
| Quantity limit reached | You already hold the max amount | Inventory count and item category limit | Use, spend, delete, or wait for reset |
| Friend cannot be found | Wrong ID, server, or version | Exact profile ID and server label | Update both clients and search again |
| Gift pass not working | Expired, already claimed, or blocked by limit | Mail date, claim history, inventory | Restart, re-check mailbox, then contact support if paid |
If two friends sent the same ticket voucher or gift pass, do not assume both can be claimed at once. Many rewards have item caps, daily limits, duplicate restrictions, or mailbox rules.
The message usually means your account already has the maximum amount of that item or reward type. It is not always a bug.
Friend features are easiest when both players choose the same server or regional label.
If one player is on an older version, search, invite, or visit features can fail.
Co-building, visiting, chat, and gifting may require friend status or extra permission.
For missing gifts or paid items, screenshots make support tickets much easier.
Yes. Heartopia includes multiplayer and social features, but most daily progress still happens through your own character, home, hobbies, and quests.
Open the social or friends menu, search by the available player ID or name option, send a request, and wait for the other player to accept.
Open Watch β Settings β Home Settings β Consume Food, then choose Self Only. Community reports also show Friends Only and Anyone choices on current clients.
Check in-game social, privacy, and notification settings first. If there is no specific invite toggle, mute Heartopia notifications from your device settings.
The item may have a duplicate, daily, event, or inventory limit. Claim one, check where it went, then use or spend it before claiming the second.
It usually means you already hold the maximum amount of that item or reward type. Check inventory, mailbox, voucher tabs, and reset timing.
